QuickPass Quick Start Guide

All Residents of the Key West Golf Club, 

We are in the process of fully implementing the Quick Pass system that was installed 4 years ago.  As everyone knows the new “Residents Lane” will enable residents to enter directly without having to wait in the visitor lane.  We highly recommend that all residents have a transponder to allow the guards the time to check visitors into the community without residents having to wait. The resident’s lane gate will be automatically opened by a transponder located in your vehicle.

Transponders are available at the KWGC HOA office. You must be an owner or Long-Term renter to receive a transponder. Only two transponders will be available per house.

Note – All Vehicles will also have a decal to represent if you are an owner or tenant. Tenant decals will have an expiration date that must to be updated when the decal expires. If tenants have a transponder, when your lease expires your transponder will be deactivated along with your decal. The proper paperwork must be turned into the HOA office in order for your transponder to be reactivated.

Beginning March 1, 2019, all of your visitors coming onto the property must be listed on your Quick Pass “Visitors” page, in advance.  Visitors not listed will not be granted access. This includes all vendors, contractors, food deliveries, taxis, Uber, Lyft, etc.  UPS, FedEx, US Post Office, KW Resort Utilities, municipal vehicles, etc. do not need to be entered into Quick Pass.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • QUICK PASS IS A VISITOR MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR DAILY VISITORS.
  • ALL RESIDENTS HAVING VISITORS STAYING ON PROPERTY OVERNIGHT FOR A WEEK OR LONGER MUST LET MANAGEMENT KNOW.
  • THIS WILL ALLOW MANAGEMENT TO PRODUCE THE PROPER PARKING PASS YOUR VISITOR WILL NEED FOR THE DURATION OF THEIR STAY.
  • IF A VISITOR IS STAYING AT YOUR PROPERTY WHILE YOU ARE NOT IN THE HOME, A “UNIT USE FORM” MUST BE TURNED IN PRIOR TO THEIR ARRIVAL. THIS WILL ALLOW MANAGEMENT TO INPUT YOUR GUEST INTO QUICK PASS AND RECEIVE THEIR PARKING PASS AT THE GUARD HOUSE UPON THEIR ARRIVAL.

The web site for Quick Pass is www.quickpass.us . Your username is your email address and the password is created by you. For more information, the Quick Pass Quick Start Guide can be found HERE.

In summary, the steps to enter your Visitor’s into Quick Pass are:

  1. Log onto your Quick Pass account.
  2. Go to the “Visitors” Tab.
  3. Click “Add New Visitor”. Note you can select whether the visitor is permanent, temporary or banned under “Visitor Type”.
  4. Enter all required visitor information.
  5. You can be notified by clicking “notify upon entry” and entering either your email or text message option by following the instructions.
  6. Once all information is entered click “Add Visitor”.

P.S. This is going to be a big job and in order to make it go as smoothly as possible, Do Not wait until the last minute. Make sure you can log onto the QuickPass site and understand how to enter a visitor before March 1. We are here to help you.
